I have played women's indoor vollleyball for over 20 years, including playing for the Brazilian National between 1983 to 1997. Invitations to play for the Brazilian National Team are extended to only the top 12 volleyball players in the country, and I was a member of the team for ten years. Specifically, I played for the Brazilian National Team in all major international tournaments including the 1988 and 1992 Olympic Games, several World Cups, World Leagues, Pan-American Games and South American Championships. I have also participated in tournaments worldwide for club teams. I have been fortunate to win many tournaments and to earn many prestigious individual awards. Not having taken my accomplishments lightly, I have gladly undertaken significant leadership and mentoring roles in the community sharing my volleyball skills and experience in meaningful ways.

I have also actively participated in community work and coaching of young athletes. Benedito Crispi, an important volleyball director in Brazil, states the following about my successful involvement with his programs:

"Cilene, as a member of our professional team and the Brazilian National Volleyball team, was very active in our community and participated in several volleyball clinics. Her incredible successes as a world elite athlete along with her great connection and excellent communication with athletes make Cilene an asset to any program attempting to educate and prepare athletes for the game of volleyball and life in general. "

"Cilene Falleiro Rocha Drewnick was one of the top players ever to play volleyball in our country and world and we highly regard her contributions to the sport of volleyball as a player, leader and role model." Paulo Marcio - Superintendent of the Brazilian Confederation of Volleyball
