Eduardo Drewnick
I have been involved with sports throughout my life. I started at a young age playing soccer in Brazil. At the age of 12 I started playing volleyball and basketball. My passion for basketball made me choose the sport as my number one, and although I played beach and indoor volleyball tournaments during my basketball off seasons. I dedicated the rest of my life to basketball. I played for the Brazilian National team, had a great college career in the US (Lamar University, College of Southern Idaho and the University of Houston). After college I played for professional teams in Brazil. I won a few Brazilian Professional League Championships, 1 South American League Championship and, in the US, my team won the NJCAA Championship in 1987. I always worked hard to achieve my academic goals. I have a bachelors degree from the University of Houston (Magda Cum Laude) in Sports Management/Physical Education and a MBA from the University of South Florida. Professionally, I have owned a Sports Marketing Firm and worked for important companies.
" No matter what I face, either professionally or personally, I can always draw on the experiences I acquired through my sports career. I strongly believe that sports prepare a person to all challenges of life, and these sports skills can be easily transferred to our daily living. We are always one step ahead of the competition."
